Recreated from a rare 1970s RMFC vintage, the "Nigel Cabourn Down Vest Clip" redefines the classic with innovative design.
Deliberately omitting the signature single leather yoke, this down vest features a functional fireman clip on the front inspired by ship crew uniforms, blending utility with vintage style.
Shoulders use vegetable-tanned cowhide leather with added chrome for flexibility and durability.
The body and lining utilize RMFC’s revived 70-denier nylon taffeta, lightweight yet durable and insulating thanks to its three-layer construction.
Filled with water-repellent European down (90% down, 10% feather, 700 fill power) to maintain warmth in wet conditions.
A new RMFC standard, merging military roots with a refreshed classic look.

Due to the nature of down feathers, some feather leakage may occur as breathability is necessary.
If feathers come through the fabric, do not pull them out forcibly. Instead, gently push them back inside from the reverse side.
Products with Leather
This product uses natural leather with “natural marks,” preserving the material’s unique texture.
Color variations, scratches, and wrinkles may appear and are characteristics of genuine leather, adding to its charm.
Edges of leather parts may slightly lift as part of the design.
If the leather feels dry or stiff, we recommend using leather care cream to maintain softness and extend its life.
