The brand’s signature 70D nylon taffeta, custom-made for the HERITAGE line down vest. Standard nylon taffeta has a thread count of 210 and an acrylic coating on the back for water resistance—but that sacrifices breathability, which defeats the purpose. This fabric instead uses a high-density weave with more than 50 additional threads, paired with a Cire finish that keeps it breathable. The philosophy of compromising on neither performance nor comfort is woven into every piece.

The filling is water-repellent European down. A 90% down, 10% feather balance delivers the high warmth of 700 fill power together with remarkable lightness. It holds its loft even in poor weather, ensuring steady warmth.

The collar of the Christy Vest is made from American-sourced mouton. Its even pile and moderate thickness give it a vintage-like character alongside excellent warmth—a piece with real presence in both look and warmth.

The leather used for the yoke is combination tannin- and chrome-tanned, then dye-finished so you can enjoy the leather’s natural character and rich patina over time. This premium material combines suppleness and strength, molding to your body the more you wear it.

The yoke shape differs between the men’s and women’s versions. The women’s design has a slightly deeper center valley, creating a soft, three-dimensional silhouette. From the contours to the depth of the curves, these structural details are fine-tuned for each pattern.

The dot buttons, pearl dots, and nickel buttons are specially remade for today from designs once produced in the past. Their classic two-prong construction is finished with an RMFC stamp on the underside of the base—design details carried through down to the finest point.

The hand-warmer pockets on the nylon model have a two-layer interior. The inner pocket also features a vintage-style zipper with stoppers at both the top and bottom—a detail that unites function and design.
