Christy Jacket

Christy Jacket combines a natural sheepskin collar with Rocky Mountain Featherbed’s signature one-piece leather yoke. Rooted in 1970s American outdoor wear, this classic down jacket features a special 50th anniversary label for the 2024 edition.

The soft sheepskin collar adds warmth around the neck and a distinctive texture against the nylon shell. Across the shoulders, the cattle leather yoke is finished using a combination of vegetable and chrome tanning, giving it a supple feel and natural character that develops with wear.

Both the shell and lining are made from the brand’s original 70-denier nylon taffeta. Its texture and colours recall vintage nylon, while the three-layer construction helps contain the down.

The filling is 700-fill-power European down with a water-repellent treatment. Applied to the down itself, the treatment helps reduce the loss of insulating performance when damp.

Made in Japan, Christy Jacket brings together nylon, leather and sheepskin in a practical winter layer. Wear it over a sweatshirt or knitwear, with the collar adding warmth and a defining detail to everyday outfits.

・Apply a small amount of leather cream to the leather parts only when they seem dry.
Storage:

・For long-term storage, remove any plastic bag and keep the garment in a breathable cover such as a non-woven garment bag.
Cleaning:
・Avoid washing at home; please consult a trusted cleaner experienced with leather and down products.
・If the garment gets wet, promptly blot the moisture with a dry cloth and let it air dry.
